SWB 2011

Posted on October 17, 2011

It is hard to believe that ten years ago along with a talented collective, I founded SWB (Sustaining Women In Business). On 30 August this year we celebrated this achievement at our The 10th Anniversary event at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne. SWB11 included in-depth workshops, pertinent discussion groups and International Keynotes from Lord Michael Hastings , global social responsibility and sustainability Champion along with renowned diversity Thought Leader, Avivah Wittenberg-Cox. We were overwhelmed by the messages of congratulations and support from Business and Government leaders including a late arrival from the PM soon be posted on our website www.swb.com.au The feedback has been awe-inspiring and makes all the hard work of the committee and our team from Champion Events worthwhile. One of the stand out

highlights this year has to be the amazing BIG Feed Gala Dinner featuring Kate Ceberano, who performed a mini set with Brother Phil and so moved the audience that you could literally feel the stillness! It was the perfect way to conclude the event and culminate all the years of heart, soul and passionate persistence our team has poured into this special event. Still ten years on I am as dedicated as ever to bringing the latest thinking and ideas to women as a deliberate strategy to positively influence their success and we have already put the wheels in motion to make the next 10 Years of SWB truly impactful. From connecting with new audiences and expanding our reach there are some exciting innovations in learning events that I have been wanting to develop for some time which will be launched in 2012. Stay tuned!
